Jack Hawley
National Council Member - Air Force

Jack Hawley was Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on September 26, 1955. He joined the United States Air Force February 14, 1976 and retired from the Military March 1, 1998 after 21 years of service. In addition, he worked 13 years as a contractor for the military, in base supply and currently works in Civil Service for the United States military. He joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars on September 26, 2000.

He is a three-time All-American Post Commander, All-American District Commander, and All-American State Commander where he earned his Triple Crown distinction.  He currently serves as the Chief of Staff for Department of Montana and has served in this position for three State Commanders.  He has served as the State Membership Chairman under 6 State Commanders and State Inspector for 3 State Commanders.

Jack was selected as the VFW Member of the Year for 2018-2019 for his contribution to our veteran community.  He has also attended every National Convention since 2007.  He currently maintains his membership with VFW Post 1087 in Great Falls, Montana.
